Hidden Peak. This was taken in the Langtang Valley (don't ask me which peak). I find that clouds add a lot to an image of mountains - and that a lot of cloud and a small amount of mountain often provides the most interesting images.
Fluted Peak. This is Fluted Peak, also in the Langtang Valley. We went up the Langtang Valley as far as Langsisa (population zero). If you go much further, you're into Tibet. We had a rest day here, and I climbed the northern slope a thousand feet or so, for a stupendous view of mountains and glaciers - one of the more memorable moments of this trip.
Mountain Clouds. Another image from our rest day at Langsisa.
More Mountains.
More Mountains.
Langtang Sunset. I took this photograph of the Langtang Glacier from our camp, on the south side of the Langtang Valley, half way up to the Ganja La. It was one of the nicer sunsets that I observed during this trip.
